Empathize
Understand the problem from both the business and user perspectives. Conduct user research to move beyond assumptions, gaining valuable insights into users and their needs.
Define
Analyze findings from user research to define a clear core problem statement. This definition serves as a guiding framework, ensuring all solutions remain focused on user needs throughout every phase.
Ideate
Brainstorming creative and innovative solutions grounded in factual insights to address the core problem. It encourages out-of-the-box thinking, as even the most unconventional ideas could effectively meet user needs.
Prototype
Transform the generated ideas into work-in-progress solutions. These potential answers are refined through experimentation, shaped by stakeholder input, user feedback, and any other relevant data.
Test
Once solutions are further developed, they are evaluated and validated against the core problem statement. Solutions then either move forward to the next phase or return to a previous stage for additional refinement as needed.
Implement
Solutions that receive positive feedback get ready to be implemented. A successful project should align with business objectives, prioritize user experience, and meet accessibility standards.
